Haeco Private Jet Solutions, based in Hong Kong, recently unveiled an “East meets West” VIP cabin interior design for an Airbus A330-200 cabin. This concept uses a modern, out-of-the-box design infused with a touch of Asian heritage that can be adapted to other widebody aircraft.
The design concept is a collaboration between Haeco and an unnamed international fashion brand.
Bold use of color is in evidence in the pale green and matte gold of the furniture, which offers both contrast and harmony with the prevailing neutral scheme. Other creative touches include hand woven and painted wallpaper. Decorative “Eastern” lattice patterns are deployed in an otherwise modern, clean and chic “Western” cabin setting.
The front of the cabin includes a seating area with bookshelves and a lounge. The aft area includes a private room, master area with en suite bath and an exercise area.
Among the unique features of the cabin is a sushi bar. Lattice frame dividers are also used throughout the cabin to provide the illusion of more space along with adding to the modern design impact.
