Asia is firmly open for business jet customers requiring interior modification services.
Ameco Beijing, a joint venture between major players Air China and Lufthansa was established as a MRO provider in China, and has since expanded their services into interior modification work.
Ameco is well placed to be seen as the leading provider of interior modification work across Asia, as well as having the capability to conduct line and deep base maintenance at its facility following an agreement between Ameco Beijing and Greenpoint Technologies on the 4 June 2012 for cooperation of commercial and VIP private business jet cabin interior completions.
The two companies reached cooperation intentions to build long-term partnerships. By complementing each other, both sides will jointly support the business jet completion in China and Asia-Pacific region for narrow and widebody VIP aircraft modifications.
Greenpoint (established in 1988) is a market leading organisation of VIP and Head of State Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) interior completions for customers worldwide. In-house capabilities include interior design, engineering, program management, manufacturing, certification and installation support.
With these resources to hand, Ameco offers complete in-house cabin modification capabilities covering all processes from design, engineering, certification to installation.
Ameco’s competition in the region includes Taeco and Jet Aviation and highlights the view that a growing opportunity exists for aircraft interior services across Asia.
Given the competitive pricing that is potentially on offer, Aircraft-Completions.com predicts that it may not be just Asian customers who send their aircraft to Asia for completion or refurbishment services.
