The latest report released by Bombardier Business Aircraft forecasts fewer jet deliveries through to 2025.
Largely driven by global uncertainty the business jet manufacturer now forecasts 8,300 business jets to be manufactured and delivered by 2025, down from its previous forecast of 9,000 deliveries.
Bombardier say that slowdown in key emerging markets where original conditions and forecast were rosier are largely directly responsible for the reduction in the delivery numbers; coupled with a reduced demand in the large cabin sector.
However the manufacturer expects these trends to reverse towards the end of the year, as market conditions are expected to improve largely driven by less global uncertainty.
North America leads te forecast for the highest number of business jet deliveries, between 2016 to 2025, with 3930 aircraft.
Europe is the next largest with 1,520 deliveries; followed by Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Russia, CIS and Latin America.
The forecast of 8,300 deliveries globally equates to an estimated value of $250 billion USD.
