Aloft AeroArchitects and Boeing Sign Aux Fuel Tank Contract

November 25, 2015 By Aircraft-Completion.com

Boeing BBJ Max

Aloft AeroArchitects announced at NBAA 2015 the award of a 5 year contract with Boeing Commercial Airplanes to exclusively supply Auxiliary Fuel Systems for the Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) 737 MAX family of aircraft, including AFS kit manufacturing and installation. In addition to this new contract for the BBJ 737 MAX, Aloft and Boeing have extended the term of their existing contract for the exclusive supply by Aloft of the Next Generation 737 AFS systems.

This extension of the Next Generation 737 AFS contracts and the new BBJ 737 MAX contracts, Aloft and Boeing are continuing a partnership on extended range aircraft fuel systems that has lasted more than 20 years.

“We are extremely proud of this long-‐term relationship with our partners at Boeing Business Jets,” commented Aloft President & CEO, John Martin. “Both parties have toiled long and hard to ensure that this is a partnership that truly works. Our high Supplier ratings for both Aloft’s PATS Auxiliary Fuel Systems and Hollingsead International racks, trays and extractor products is validation of our commitment to excellence.”

Aloft AeroArchitects has been the exclusive supplier of Auxiliary Fuel Systems to Boeing for the BBJ since 1998. In addition to the BBJ, Aloft also supplies Auxiliary Fuel Systems, installations and maintenance services to Boeing GTES and Boeing AEW&C as well as units for the aftermarket modification of aircraft which can extend their range by up to 50%.
