Airbus Corporate Jets and CAMP, based in Merrimack, New Hampshire, have reached an agreement at the NBAA 2015 for customers and operators to benefit from a wider range of computerized maintenance planning services for VIP aircraft. Acropolis Aviation of the UK, currently offering an Airbus ACJ319 for VVIP charter and the launch customer for the ACJ320neo, has become the first customer for the new service.
Airbus defines the maintenance tasks that operators need to carry out to ensure the continued airworthiness of each of its modern aircraft families. These tasks are typically broken down into digital job-cards, adapted to each specific aircraft.
CAMP is an industry leading specialist in the provision of maintenance management services for corporate jets, and already provides its service for around 70 Airbus corporate jets.
The new service, “CAMP for ACJ”, brings together the two leaders to give customers and operators access to a single integrated solution. It does this by combining Airbus’ expertise in maintenance program customization and technical documentation with CAMP’s computerized aircraft maintenance management.
“We are committed to helping customers and operators to get the best from their Airbus aircraft, and this new service answers their needs,” says Benoit Defforge, Managing Director Airbus Corporate Jets. “CAMP for ACJ is a fully digital solution, available on any computer, smart-phone or tablet with internet access,” he adds.
Airbus corporate jet customers already have access to support and services tailored to their needs, such as single-point-of-contact access to the corporate jet customer care center (C4you) team, dedicated customer support directors, and customized maintenance programs.
