Marketed as the ‘Dream Jet‘ the luxury Boeing 787-8 from Deer Jet, a company owned by parent HNA Group, along with its operations company Hong Kong Jet, wowed the press following the recent Paris Air Show 2017.
The 787 Boeing Business Jet became operational in September last year following two-and-a-half years of design and completions work.
Configured to accommodate up to 30 passengers, the ‘Dream Jet’ spares no expense in luxury appointments; and is designed for comfort and luxury.
The designer Jacques Pierrejean, of Pierrejean Design Studio, selected browns and creams, mixed with gold and red touches to complete the jet interior.
The jet interior features a main lounge, private bedroom, bathrooms; dining and relaxation areas; along with aft business-class seating and galley.
The master suite consists of a room with a king-size bed, with upholstered walls on one side and shaded exterior windows on the other. The bathroom suite features a double sink and a spacious shower.
The main cabin zone constitutes a third of the overall passenger area; and the large living room and dining area span the full width of the cabin.
With regards to seating there are eight leather passenger seats, two divans that face a pair of small tables that extend to become dining tables. A wide divan that faces a large-screen video display; additionally the aft seating area featuring 18 leather business-class seats; covert to individual “full flat” beds.
Beyond that at the far aft of the aircraft is the galley area and seating for service staff.
Noise has been limited to 46 decibel for passengers (which is quite remarkable for a jet).
The Paris appearance marked the finale of the 787’s eight-leg “Dreams Encounter the World” tour, which took it to Hong Kong, Shanghai, London, Dublin, Doha, Seattle and Marrakech before touchdown at Paris Le Bourget Airport.
“At each stage of the tour, we adapted the cabin décor to combine the best of its Eastern heritage with the culture of the place we visited,” said Frank Fang, Deer Jet v-p.
