Starting in 2015, Marshall Aviation Services are planning to offer widebody VIP completions to their expanding portfolio.
With a long history of maintenance, repair and operation in military aircraft, the shift to more business and commercial aviation work is in response to a slowdown in the defense industry. The work will be done at its Cambridge headquarters, where it already supports the Cessna Citation and Bombardier Global Express. The company also owns a facility in Broughton to offer engineering support services Hawker and Beechcraft aircraft.
They are currently upgrading a hanger for a paint area to handle an aircraft as large as a Boeing 747 as well as a facility for interior completions. Marshall will begin by offering refurbishments due to the large number of BBJ’s in service and will move to green completions at a later date.
