Jet Aviation Singapore has received full Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval for its new interior shop. This will allow them to certify refurbished interior components or entire cabin interiors of aircraft rated by the facility. This complements their offerings of maintenance inspections and they are expected to receive certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) later this year.
Jet Aviation Singapore is currently working on a cabinetry and veneer refurbishment for a Bombardier Challenger 605 and a Gulfstream GIV cabin interior upgrade. In 2014, Jet Aviation Singapore performed a range of retrofit, modification and upgrade services on various aircraft, including full interior refurbishment of a GIV and retrofitting interior components on two 747 VIP aircraft.
The company has made an an effort to expand the company’s refurbishment capabilities and has also doubled the size of its team of interior craftsmen to meet increased demand.
The interior shop is outfitted with high-end equipment for upholstery, wood & veneer finishing and carpeting as well as a new 60 m² eco-friendly spray-painting and buffing shop. The company also is a partner with Hawker Pacific to offer a full repaint and interior package on aircraft up to the size of the Gulfstream 650 and the Bombardier Global series.
