With deliveries of the ACJ320neo to begin in the coming months, Airbus Corporate Jets are looking to capture a significant slice of the narrow-body completions market.
To firm this intent Airbus Corporate Jets have a taken a fully completed ACJ319 to the NBAA 2018 conference in a bid to market and drum this business.
The aircraft in question is the ACJ319 operated for VVIP charter by K5 Aviation of Germany. The significance being the first ACJ319neo to be delivered will be to Fokker Techniek of the Netherlands, who will complete the corporate jet for K5 Aviation.
With regards to the ACJ320neo, AMAC in Basel, Switzerland will be the competion center to take delivery of the first ACJ320neo from Airbus to be handed over to a completion center who will complete the aircraft with an Alberto Pinto-designed interior on behalf of Acropolis Aviation of the UK.
Both the ACJ319neo and ACJ320neo aircraft feature new-generation engines, and Sharklets to save fuel and therefore extended range.
Airbus has taken orders for three A320neos this year, bringing total orders for the ACJneo to three ACJ319neo and six ACJ320neo aircraft.
