Boeing Business Jets has launched its BBJ MAX 9 large cabin with an order from an undisclosed European customer.
It’s the fifth firm order for a Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) MAX aircraft with Boeing previously booking four orders for the BBJ MAX 8 model. The first order was announced back in 2014.
Boeing Business Jets President, David Longridge:
“We are thrilled to announce that the BBJ MAX 9 program is officially launched with our first BBJ MAX 9 order. While maintaining the unmatched cabin comfort of today’s BBJ, the BBJ MAX’s lower fuel use, increased range capability, updated flight deck, lower noise and reduced emissions enable the airplane to better meet the diverse needs of our VIP customers.”
Project management company VIP Completions added:
“The Boeing BBJ MAX makes huge sense for clients looking for a business jet cabin larger that offered by large corporate jets such as the Bombardier Global 7000 or Gulfstream G650, and as such I am recommending this jet to my clients who are in the market for a new narrow-body jet given their particular needs” he says.
“I am really looking forward to working with a client and designer on the interior, and completion of a BBJ MAX jet”.
This BBJ MAX 9 sale marks the fifth BBJ MAX on order; with four firm orders for the BBJ MAX 8 model.
