Airbus Corporate Helicopters (ACH) have teamed with Aston Martin Lagonda on the design and launch of a special Aston Martin designed interior for the ACH130.
The ACH130 Aston Martin Edition features a range of four exterior designs with complementary interiors making it no-doubt a collector’s masterpiece.
Marek Reichman, Aston Martin vice president and chief creative officer: “We have our own set of automotive design principles but in recent years we have been learning how to apply our principles to other areas of design, such as architecture, motorcycles and now helicopters.”
With 2020 being the launch of the new James Bond film no doubt featuring a number of Aston Martin supercars, the film to be launched April 2020 it waits to e seen if it features the ACH130 helicopter.
Targeted directly at the millennial buyer who would appreciate the clean high quality design and craft, and the prestige of the Aston Martin name.
The first Aston Martin aircraft unveiled is in “Stirling Green”, which features a painted gradient, fading down into a “Jet Black” shade on the underside of the helicopter with “Skyfall Silver” around the cowlings. Other color schemes with Aston Martin paint colors include “Xenon Grey”, “Arizona” and “Ultramarine Black”.
The interior features as would be expected an automotive-inspired cabin trimmed in Pure Black ultra-suede with a palette of select leathers comprising Oxford Tan, Pure Black, Cormorant and Ivory.
The Aston Martin ACH130 helicopter has been 12 months in the making with aeronautical designers from Airbus working closely with the creative team at Aston Martin Lagonda in Gaydon, UK.
The ACH130 Aston Martin Edition is available on request with deliveries taking place from the first quarter of 2020.
