Jet Aviation Basel recently completed its 25th BBJ with a complete custom VIP interior and a livery that consisted of 19 mixed design colors, with both schemes conceived by the Jet Aviation Design Studio.
The green aircraft was completed in nine months, which also consisted of new sound insulation that not only makes a quiet cabin but also is 30% lighter than other types. These are lessons learned from the involvement with the Boeing 787 program so that it increases the range of the jet and decreases fuel burn.
The interior consists of white and taupe hues set against black wood with furniture featuring stingray skin inlays. After certification and completion of the interior, the livery of black to grey fade-out was finished that made it consistent with the interior colors.
Jet Aviation Basel is a subsidiary of General Dynamics.
