Jet Aviation Basel recently delivered a new VIP ACJ A340-600 to an unnamed customer in Europe, which marks the 18th Airbus delivery from the Basel Completions Center since 1999.
Designed to carry up to 121 passengers, the ACJ A340-600 features a master bedroom and en-suite bathroom with shower, a second bedroom with its own bathroom and an office area. Galleys are situated in the forward, mid and aft sections along with dining and lounge areas. First class seating is available in the front while staff seating is located in the rear.
A humidification system has been installed to increase comfort during long haul flights. The aircraft also has an extensive in-flight entertainment system, including satellite TV, and a wireless local area network linked to primary and alternate satellite communication systems with high speed data.
Completions Project Manager at Jet Aviation Basel Joshua Florio said, “The time frame in which we completed the stunning cabin interior of this A340-600 is remarkable. This completions project is testament to our robust processes and continuous improvement efforts over the last few years.”
Neil Boyle, vice president and general manager of the Jet Aviation Basel Completions Center, added, “Jet Aviation Basel is fixed on meeting our commitments. It’s our way of building customer trust, which this delivery clearly demonstrates. I am very proud of my team for executing this project exactly to plan to meet the express wishes of our client.”
