F/List Germany has successfully completed its first major refurbishment. The six-week project involved reworking all the wooden surfaces and updating the carpets, linings and upholstery on a Challenger 850 aircraft owned by Air-X, a charter company based in Malta.
F/List Germany was set up in April 2017, when F/List took over the operations of OHS Aviation Services.
The refurbishment was carried out at F/List Germany’s EASA Part 145-approved facility at Berlin Schönefeld Airport. At the same time, strategic partner Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services carried out engine and fuselage checks on the aircraft.
The plane’s seats were re-upholstered with stylish cream-colored leather that matches the elegant new fabric of the divan. Fresh linings on the upper and lower sidewalls and ceiling and new PSU panels helped to create a clean and stylish look.
The matte oak surfaces of the side ledges, galley, partitions and bulkhead were reworked and the cabin was finished with a grape-colored carpet throughout, giving the interior a completely new and classy look.
Six Challenger 850s are part of Air-X’s fleet. Bernhard Wallner, CCO of Air-X, thanked the F/List team for its good work. He said that the result is remarkable and their customers adore the new interior.
