AMAC Aerospace redelivers 2 A319 VIP aircraft to customers
AMAC Aerospace, based in Basel, Switzerland, recently announced the return to service of two Airbus A319 VIP aircraft.
The first A319 VIP aircraft underwent customized carpet replacement, seats and divans were reupholstered and a new in-flight entertainment system was installed. This included new HD monitors as well as audio video on demand with wireless streaming. A second stand-alone high-speed SATCOM system was also added to offer passengers further connectivity.
Cabinets were also modified to offer the customer additional storage capacity and more space in the cabin. The modification and refurbishment work was carried out in parallel with a heavy base maintenance project including landing gear overhauls.
The second A319 VIP aircraft underwent a C-Check that included avionic cockpit upgrades, cabin modifications and an upgrade of the SATCOM system to incorporate broadband capability to the cabin.
