EAD Aerospace has received the final EASA STC for its Inmarsat GX fuselage satcom antenna installation for the Airbus A319ceo, A320 ceo and neo, and A321ceo and neo aircraft types.
GX Aviation offers high-speed connectivity worldwide powered by the Global Xpress (GX) global Ka-band satellite network, owned and managed by Inmarsat.
Already been installed on one A319 the technology offers high-speed connectivity worldwide powered by the Global Xpress (GX) global Ka-band satellite network, owned and managed by Inmarsat.
The A319neo will also be covered once the EASA Type Certificate Data Sheets (TCDS) of the aircraft is known.
This STC uses the latest generation of EAD Aerospace Satcom Universal Mounting System (SUMS). SUMS have been installed and certified on A319, A330, A340, B777-200 and B777-300 and is now fully installable on A320, and A321ceo and neo aircraft.
